Can’t get enough Historical Romance?

Read1

Does it seem like there are more contemps on the shelves than your favorite genre these days?

I agree…..

But here’s the good news: We no longer have to rely upon traditional publishers to sate our craving for Historicals!

There are so many resources at your fingertips where you can find quality, heart-wrenching, costume-toting, ball-attending, horse-and-buggy, kilt-wearing, sword-wielding, period romances:

You can go to Amazon.com (or even Google) and type into the field: Historical Romance Novels – You can even type in sub-genres such as:

Sci-Fi Romance

Historical Erotic Fantasy

Highland Romance

Western Romance

And the list goes on.

Be creative – and patient. It’s very likely someone has written the kind of novel you’re looking for, especially now that self-publishing has taken off.

NEVER AGAIN WAIT AROUND FOR “THE BIG 6” TO DECIDE WHAT WE READ!

And happy reading!

Genre Split ~

I just had a thought (everybody run! LOL JK!)

We have ‘Regency Romance’ but it seems to have its own genre aside from ‘Historicals.’ And I’ll be honest, I’m not quite sure why.  So consider this: A ‘Cowboy’ histiorical romance would be different if the book didn’t have ‘Cowboys’ in it, but had ‘Gamblers.’

My book, A Touch of Destiny, is an old west or ‘Western Romance’ but it focuses on a gambler rather than a cowboy.

Genre splits happen every so often, no biggie there. So what do you think, are you up for a genre split?
